After the war, the Kingman Airfield served as one of the largest reclamation sites for obsolete military aircraft. Today, the airport spans 4,000 acres and has two zippy runways; the primary runway is just under 7,000 feet in length by 150-feet wide, and the secondary runway is moreover just under 7,000 feet in length by 75-feet wide. There are approximately 150 unstipulated aviation operators and/or individual watercraft owners at the airport withal with 250 watercraft in storage. The watercraft in storage are in surplus of market demands with most of them maintained in airworthy condition. In wing to providing watercraft rental, maintenance, charter, and fueling services, Kingman Airport moreover provides air ambulance services, supports the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) aviation operations, and services the Mohave County Sheriff’s Department aviation section.
